Dr. Karla and Randy both grew up in the same small town in Iowa. From there they attended Grandview College in Des Moines, and graduated with bachelor of general science degrees. After four more years they graduated from the University of Iowa Dental College in 1995. Being raised in Iowa, they were excited to live in Iowa City and support their favorite college team the “Hawkeyes”. The University of Iowa Dental College has continually been ranked as one of the Top 3 dental schools in the nation.
The doctors also attended Mrs. Peck’s pre-school in Iowa in the early seventies… Not sure if it was ranked in the nation academically, but it was definitely where they received a good mid-west upbringing! The doctors bring those morals and ethics of the Midwest with them to Oregon. This is important for their patients to know and we feel is one of their best assets. They will treat you, exactly how they would want to be treated.
Continuing education is an important part of the doctor’s commitment to their patients. They want to seek out the latest most advanced philosophies and techniques to be able to provide their patients with the highest level of dental care available. They don’t just take the bare minimum continuing education classes to get their license renewed, they go above and beyond.
